Mr. and Mrs. Washburn!

The day we have been waiting for has finally come and gone.
Beth and Mike's wedding was absolutely beautiful!

Beth did such a great job hiring all of her vendors. The staff at the Mission Inn were outstanding in their service. The wedding was handled very professionally, but with a personal touch and commitment that you do not find at many venues. There was not one thing that we asked for that they did not try to provide for us in a speedy manner. The food was excellent both at the rehearsal dinner and the wedding. If anyone asks my opinion for a place to get married I will suggest them every time. The photographer and his wife were absolutely wonderful! They went above and beyond to make sure that Beth and her wedding party were completely taken care of...including helping us get her gown laced up and trying to push down Denise's hair! :) The DJ was very organized and handled the reception in such a professional manner that I have not seen before. The flowers were beautiful as was the cake.

It rained all morning the day of the wedding and there was talk of moving the ceremony indoors to one of the ballrooms. I was so proud of Beth as she kept her cool throughout the entire day and didn't stress about any of it. When the time came to decide where the ceremony was to be, she went with her gut (against what the Mission Inn's radar was saying) and decided that it was going to be fine and we would continue with the wedding outside as originally planned. She was right to go with her instincts. The skies cleared and it never rained again.

We all had so much fun and are glad that Beth and Mike finally have what they have been waiting on for such a long time.

Unfortunately, due to being tied up with the hairdresser (another story in itself), I was not able to get any of my own pictures of all of the items that I created for the wedding. Beth assured me that her photographer got some, so I will have to wait until we get those back to post on my website. Brian did snap a few pictures...
